The Hepburn Shire Council has been successful in receiving a grant from the State Government to assist in the formulation of a 10-year Business and Marketing plan for the Daylesford Spa Country Railway.

The total cost of the study is $18,000 with $9,000 coming from the State Government, $4,500 from the Hepburn Shire and the Daylesford Spa Country Railway itself contributing the remaining $4,500.

Linqage International has been appointed by the Shire of Hepburn to undertake the formulation of a blue print for the future development of the Daylesford Spa Country Railway including a marketing and business plan. It is anticipated that the plan will be completed by the end of May 2005.
