The Spirit of Daylesford
Board the Spirit of Daylesford for a twilight pre-dinner journey through the scenic Central Highlands!
Departing Daylesford's historic 1882 station, our locomotive hauled retro 1980's era train takes you to Bullarto, Victoria's highest operating station, with golden hour views of lush forests and rolling farmland.
Enjoy a selection of beer, wine and soft drinks from our onboard bar and soak in the nostalgic ambience, before returning under the early evening sky. Perfect for a romantic escape or a fun evening with friends.
The train departs at 5:30pm for a leisurely one and a half hour round trip to the highest operating railway station in Victoria, arriving back at Daylesford by 7:00pm
Booking
Online bookings close 30 minutes prior to the departure of the train. Any remaining tickets will be available to purchase from the ticket office at Daylesford Station until departure. We recommend booking online to avoid disappointment
1.5 hour round trip costs $22 for adults, $18 concession or children under 16 and $50 for families (up to 2 adults and 3 children).
Companion cards are accepted.
We are a dog friendly railway
Please check in at the ticket office at Daylesford Station no later than 15 minutes prior to boarding the train to receive your souvenir Edmonson ticket and important trip info.
What's included
Return rail journey from Daylesford to Bullarto and return is included in the ticket price.

A selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks are available for sale at bar prices.
Itinerary
5:15pm - Arrive at Daylesford to check in for your journey.
5:30pm - Depart Daylesford station and enjoy a drink from the bar while travelling through the forest to Bullarto
6:00pm - Arrive at Bullarto where our locomotive will run around the train in preparation for departure back to Daylesford
6:30pm - Depart Bullarto and relax in your seat on the return journey
7:00pm - Arrive back at Daylesford station where the event concludes
